Voice Placement
We welcome singers of all voice ranges and experience. New singers will go through a voice placement process, which is a 10-minute session with our Artistic Director to get an idea of your vocal range and tone to determine where you’ll be placed in the choir formation for the best sound.
Rehearsals
Our rehearsals are every Monday from 7:00-9:15 PM in Winters Mill High School’s choral music room. On Mondays when the school is closed, arrangements are made for another rehearsal location. Fall concert rehearsals generally run from end of August to late November and our Spring rehearsals from end of January to early May, ending with a Sunday afternoon concert in late November and early May, respectively.
Dues
All members must pay dues at the beginning of the Fall or Spring rehearsal period. We never turn anyone away for an inability to pay. Scholarships are available for dues and all requests are kept strictly confidential.
$50 – all adults age 18 or over
$20 – full-time students age 18-21
